Luxembourg coins:

Up until fairly recently, Luxembourg apparently had its own currency. Then, it appears that the country just used the same coins and banknotes as Belgium, but for bookkeeping and exchange purposes the LUF still existed. (Now, of course, they use Euros.) While I was in Belgium and Luxembourg, I found the two currencies used interchangeably, at least as far as coins were concerned.
