The obverse has the words "Chambre of Commerce of France, Good for 2 Francs". This coin features a statue, the date, and the words "Commerce, Industry" on the reverse. A fellow collector provided me with more information on the design:
"The French Chambers of Commerce coins issued during the 1920s feature on their obverse a seated image of the god Mercury in his role as god of commerce - he is recognisable by his winged helmet and the caduceus in his right hand. His left arm rests on a rudder (another symbol of trade), while at his feet is a cornucopia - a symbol of plenty. This design was originally produced by the engraver Joseph-François Domard (1792-1858) for a jeton de présence for the Banque de Toulouse from 1842 to 1845."
I got this one at a flea market in Geneva.
