One side shows a portrait of James Ensor and some theater masks. The reverse is a painting (Scene on the beach) by James Ensor, a Belgium painter who lived in Oostende, on the Belgian coast. This banknote was in circulation from 1991 till 1995. I studied abroad my junior year in college. I got this while traveling in the country during a school break.
